FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP

Stewardship invites each Catholic, young and old, married and unmarried, to ask, “In what practical way can I show God that I trust Him and that I want to deepen my confidence in Him? In what way can I be more joyful in my use of money and material things?” Stewardship is simply a practical way of giving back to God the first fruits of our labor. The weekly envelopes and electronic funds transfer, via our website or texting, provide us with a way to contribute to the parish for everyday operating expenses or capital campaign.

Our parish, along with 210 other parishes, is linked to the larger Catholic community of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. We provide opportunities (on behalf of the Archdiocese and the worldwide Church) for our parishioners to contribute support beyond our own parish boundaries. Such contributions are made using special (gold) envelopes in the monthly envelope packet you receive in the mail or through special collections at Mass.

Parish fund-raisers are held throughout the year and include a winter Festival, a Promise of Spring live auction and dinner, SCRIP coupon sales Health-A-Thon, and other opportunities.
