Mission Statement

St. Pius X School, established in 1955, is a Catholic school serving the students of White Bear Lake and neighboring communities. We are dedicated to the parents, students, and parishioners to create a structured yet nurturing environment that promotes the spiritual, moral, emotional, social, academic, and physical development of our students. We promote respect for each other and ourselves by integrating our Catholic values into daily activities. We encourage a life-long love of learning, and provide students with the opportunity and environment to achieve their full potential as productive members of society. Through the Incarnation we become people of hope. Through our work together at St. Pius X School, we manifest that hope in our future.

School Philosophy Statement

St. Pius X Catholic School in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, is a place to learn and grow. St. Pius X School recognizes the importance of a well-disciplined Christian approach to education where a loving, stimulating, and respectful atmosphere is an aid to teach as Jesus did by communicating His message within the Catholic tradition. We continue the tradition of Jesus by incorporating His message through Catholic social teaching in a Christian community.

St. Pius X School strives to meet the needs of each learner. Our focus is on the student, a person created in the image and likeness of God and called to be a witness to Jesus. We will challenge each learner to fully develop his/her God-given gifts and talents for the benefit of self, others, church, and the world.

St. Pius X School recognizes the parents' primary duty to educate the child, and looks upon itself as a cooperating partner in the total development of the child. We are committed to supporting and enhancing an active faith through prayer, worship, study, and service. We welcome all with any religious beliefs while fostering Catholic values.
