Prior to Receiving Confirmation

Confirmation Interviews
St. Pius X has the Sacrament of Confirmation in the fall ONLY, usually in November. Students who are planning on being confirmed must sign up for an interview with either Julie or Laura, beginning in August. Students eligible for the Fall Confirmation will receive an interview packet with your interview questions, a what –to- bring list, homework checklist, and faith plan worksheet in the mail. Students are required to bring all completed homework to the interview. Students may not interview with incomplete information and will need to reschedule. Interviews are given on a first come, first served basis and must be completed one month prior to confirmation.  

Scheduling your interview
Candidates must sign up for an interview time using Google Calendar Appointments (a link will be available here when the interview schedule is solidified). Only available interview time slots will show on the calendar. You may interview with either Julie Olson or Laura Fenzl. Write your name and cell or home phone number in front of “Interview with Julie Olson” or “Interview with Laura Fenzl.” Make sure you write down your interview time and date.

Candidate should be 10 minutes early for their interview.

Evening of Reflection

The Evening of Reflection takes place one month prior to our fall Confirmation date.  It provides guided reflection on the upcoming Sacrament.  Sponsors and Candidates will receive information for their Rite of Confirmation regarding dress, parking, Mass participation, and practice the responses given to the Bishop.
