Sports & Activities

We encourage our students to get involved in a variety of sports and activities. These extracurricular activities help children develop their gifts, try new experiences, and explore many aspects of their world. Our students build their character and enhance their classroom learning through a broader base of knowledge.

We offer several athletic teams, band, a science fair, peer leadership team, ski club, plays and musicals, Camp St. Croix, and an (optional) trip to Washington D.C. for our older students.

Athletics

Athletic teams and activities help students in many important ways. We see them develop their skills, build Christian character and self-esteem, practice sportsmanship and teamwork and build a positive school spirit.

 St. Pius Xtra-Hours Program

Our Xtra-Hours program is an after school opportunity to challenge the eager mind! In these exciting, multi-week workshops students will strengthen their skills through fun, hands-on activities. Programs are open to different grade ranges and offer an opportunity to learn new skills, develop meaningful social relationships and make real world connections.

Past classes have included painting, Reader's Theatre, bookmaking, baking with science, introduction to flight, newspaper club, and creative fashion with recycled materials.

New classes are offered each trimester. Fees for Xtra-Hours programs are separate from Extended Day and After Hours programming.

Please contact the school office for the current list of Xtra-Hours classes and to register.
